Camel Creek Family Adventure Park launch exciting new visitor app

Camel Creek partners with Attractions.io to launch a new app designed to improve the visitor experience and help with social distancing.

Family adventure park, Camel Creek, has partnered with us in an exciting new app designed to improve the visitor experience, while at the same time helping the park with social distancing and reducing person to person contact.

Nestled in 111 acres of Cornish countryside in the UK, Camel Creek is a haven of family-friendly rides, giant play areas and animal encounters. The new app, launched on 26th October, will improve the visitor experience by making it easier to navigate the park, with features like interactive mapping – allowing them to plan their day and find their way around. Location-based messaging and push notifications make it easier to communicate with visitors before, during and after their visit, giving them exclusive offers and latest news about events happening around the park.

In addition to improving the visitor experience, the app will ensure there is less need for printed materials such as paper maps – which is a big benefit to both the park and the environment.

One of the main drivers behind Camel Creek’s decision to introduce the app was to improve their social distancing measures and encourage less person to person contact. This was achieved by introducing mobile food ordering for both orders and collections, which reduces queues and physical contact points, as well as supporting Google Pay and Apple Pay for contactless payments. Social distancing updates and messaging can also be pushed out to visitors via the app to reassure them that their well-being is front of mind, as well as highlighting hand sanitiser locations on the virtual map.

Camel Creek are constantly investing to improve the visitor experience at the park, and have ambitious expansion plans with the launch of new safari lodges in 2021, as well as their investment in technology. Keith Thompson, Sales & Marketing Manager at Camel Creek said:
