Merlin Entertainments rolls out mobile app platform

We're incredibly pleased to announce the roll-out of six new LEGOLAND mobile apps, powered by the platform.

We're incredibly pleased to announce that Merlin Entertainments, the second-largest entertainments company in the world, have completed the roll-out of six new mobile apps powered by the platform.

The apps have been developed for their LEGOLAND® Resorts across the globe, with the following locations launched over a four-month period:

  • LEGOLAND® Windsor
  • LEGOLAND® Deutschland
  • LEGOLAND® Billund
  • LEGOLAND® Japan
  • LEGOLAND® Florida
  • LEGOLAND® California

The apps help LEGOLAND® guests make the most of their day with features including an interactive map, intelligent wayfinding and live wait times.

Working in close collaboration with Merlin's digital team, our unique app development process allowed us to deliver a highly branded experience for both iOS and Android users, built on top of our world-class platform which has already powered experiences for millions of guests worldwide.

The app is based around a to-scale version of the park map, which pinpoints your exact location at the resort.

The LEGOLAND® apps join three of Merlin's UK theme park resorts that already use our technology — Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park, where it has improved visitor satisfaction scores, increased secondary spend and delivered unique insights into guest behaviour.
