As we step into Spring, we’re excited to bring you our latest product update, packed with new features and enhancements across our mobile app platform and MapLayr SDK.

Drive engagement with integrated audio tours 

Outdated audio tours create friction in the guest journey. Clunky handsets and long queues frustrate guests, and operators are left with fragmented, hard-to-manage systems. 

Our new Audio Tour module brings immersive tours directly into your guest app. No extra devices or downloads are required. Guests can dive into your stories right from their phones, alongside maps, tickets, and schedules.

This approach boosts app adoption and creates a channel for ongoing communication with guests. When audio tours work alongside features like targeted messaging, you can prompt donations, drive upsells and influence guest behaviour on site.

Plus, with engagement tracking you can quickly identify what works and optimise your content for greater impact.

F&B operations made simple with Centegra

Our new integration with Centegra+, the cloud-based F&B platform, streamlines operations behind the scenes while giving guests a faster, more convenient way to order through the Attractions.io app.

Launching next week with a leading UK attraction, the integration brings key benefits for both operators and guests:

  • Real-time menu syncing
    Update menus in Centegra+ and see changes reflected in the app immediately.
  • Direct-to-kitchen order flow
    Orders are sent straight to the kitchen for quicker fulfilment and fewer mistakes.
  • Flexible ordering options
    Guests can choose pickup or table delivery and apply discounts at checkout.
  • Live order tracking
    Guests can track their order status from their phone.
  • Easy, contactless payment
    Supports card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Centralised reporting
    All menu, order and revenue data in one place.

We’re already planning to expand this integration, with features like upsell prompts, dynamic pricing based on collection method, and personalised order history.

Indoor Positioning for MapLayr

GPS often fails indoors. Now, your maps don’t have to. 

The latest update to our mapping engine uses Bluetooth beacons to show guests their live location inside your venue, even in GPS dead zones.

Whether it's navigating hotel lobbies or exhibition halls, guests can move confidently through every part of your space, reducing frustration and cutting down on wayfinding questions for your team.

Indoor positioning is now available in the mobile app platform and the MapLayr SDK.

Connect Enhancements

The Connect platform had a spring refresh. New upgrades make it easier to manage content and campaigns at scale: 

  • Batch editing for POIs: ​​Update multiple points of interest at once for faster changes and less manual work.
  • Smarter promotional tools: More control over how offers are managed and presented to guests, making campaigns quicker to plan and easier to deploy. 

Integrations News

Alongside our Centegra+ launch, we’ve welcomed several new integration partners this quarter. 

  • With Blackbaud guests can instantly retrieve their tickets and passes within the app, no email digging required.
  • Our Gateway Ticketing Systems integration now enables guests to import coupons alongside their tickets, for bundled extras like meal vouchers or ride photos. 
  • Freedom Pay helps operators to ensure secure, PCI-compliant payments for in-app purchases.
  • Anchor Operating Systems streamlines guest access and ticket validation for a smoother arrival.
  • Photo Experience allows guests to collect, purchase and share their photos from inside the app.

GX Pulse

Guest experience is the biggest driver of attendance, revenue, and repeat visitation but most attractions struggle to measure and improve it effectively.

GX Pulse is our new Guest Experience Intelligence tool, designed specifically for attractions. It brings together guest reviews from platforms like Google, TripAdvisor and Yelp, and uses AI to analyse sentiment across real experience touchpoints.
