As part of a wider effort to improve the guest experience, Edinburgh Zoo invested in a beautifully illustrated printed map. To match that same quality and charm in their digital experience, they turned to MapLayr to deliver a fully interactive, offline-capable map.

Our in-house illustration team translated the look and feel of the printed map into a mobile-friendly format. The final design respects the character, colour choices and layout of the original print, while adapting it for on-the-go use on any device.

The final result is a map that feels familiar and easy to use. Guests can enjoy the same calming, friendly aesthetic whether they are holding a paper map or navigating on their phone.
