Navigating in the dark is no easy task – particularly when you never know what lurks around the next corner… Fortunate then, that thrill seekers exploring this years’ Shocktober Fest will be able to use Tulleys Farm's new mobile app to find their way around the haunted attraction.
Using GPS wayfinding and an appropriately fiendish hand-illustrated map, guests can get directions to the park’s haunts, rides and shows in a tap. Choosing from standard or accessible routes, they’ll be taken directly to the experience's entrance – meaning they no longer have to worry about wandering off the beaten track at this nocturnal attraction.
In addition to wayfinding, guests at Tulleys Shocktober Fest can use the park's new mobile app to explore the park, monitor queue times and store tickets in their mobile wallet.
Behind the scenes, the team curating Shocktober Fest wanted to ensure that guests have an authentic, branded experience, whether exploring the scare park via the app, website or in-person. Using Connect, Attractions.io’s app management console, the marketing team at Tulleys has been able to customise their app with Shocktober Fest’s distinctive branding, which includes:
Chris Bailey, Operations Manager at Tulleys Shocktober Fest, said:
“We are really excited to see the Tulleys Shocktober Fest app live in the app stores! The app will make it easier for guests to scan tickets, view queue times, navigate the site and make the most of all ten of our Halloween haunts. Attractions.io has been great to work with, helping us to translate our theme to the design of the app for an authentic, branded experience.”
Danielle Bastiaens, Head of Delivery at Attractions.io, said:
“Building anticipation and suspense ahead of guests’ visits is hugely important for the team at Tulleys and the new app is likely to be the first touchpoint guests’ encounter after buying their tickets. We’ve worked closely with Tulleys to customise their guest interface and ensure it reflects the spookiness of their attraction – which is certainly not for the faint-hearted!”
Tulleys Shocktober Fest Scream Park is Europe’s largest scare park. Returning this October for its 26th year, the haunted attraction offers those who are brave enough an immersive experience as they explore 10 horrific haunts, live shows and terrifying rides in the dark
